Born and raised in Kanana near Klerksdorp in the North West Province, Dr Sibongile Dlamini’s journey into paediatrics has always been guided by a deep love for children and a desire to support families through every stage of childhood. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, followed by internship training at Leratong Hospital and community service at the Klerksdorp-Tshepong Complex, where her passion for paediatric care continued to grow.

Her specialist paediatric training at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital through the University of the Witwatersrand shaped her approach to caring for children, combining strong clinical expertise with empathy and patience. Having worked across various healthcare settings, she brings a well-rounded understanding of both medical excellence and compassionate support.

As a mother herself, Dr Dlamini understands the hopes, worries, and responsibilities that come with raising a child. She believes in empowering parents and caregivers through education, early guidance, and meaningful partnerships in their child’s health journey. Known for her warm, approachable nature, she finds joy in working with children and living out her personal philosophy: healing the future.
